how can anyone vote for an MP who spends their time making stupid comments on twitter, they should be doing their jobs not wasting their time and our money doing this. I can not believe that the BBC even comment on them either. What is the world coming to!!!!!!!!!!

So I realize this was written two years ago, BUT I have a twitter account that you may like: I tweet about my shits. It's like tweeting about you're having for dinner, but taking it to the next level and poking fun at the people who actually DO tweet about what they're having for dinner.

Clive - just ignore the emails as you would any other spam. If the person knows you, they'll contact you by other means.

I keep getting mails inviting me to 'tweet' with someone. I've no idea who they are, there is NO information about this person or why they want to contact me. If I want to find out who they are and why they want to 'tweet' with me I am forced to become a 'tweeter twit'. NO THANK YOU. On the other hand when I click the second link; this is the link that will 'Thank God' remove you from being invited . . . . I get an error message. I'm a real busy guy whom values my time and the last thing I want is to waste this time with what I am sure will turn out to be amazingly wasteful irrelevant chat. I looked for a contact mail to tell them about their 'invite removal error'. MMmmm it's worse than getting around London, you can end up going round and round looking for ANY means to REALLY communicate without having to sign up. I take receiving an e-mail with NO information about the sender AND no way of opting out as a form of social abuse.

Does anyone have an e-mail address to contact a real person at Tweeter as opposed to being FORCED to sign up to something so their can be told that their software is faulty?

If I want the world to know my business, I'll buy airtime on CNN. Twitter is for self-absorbed idiots who think their every move is important to someone else. It's not. I don't care if you just hailed a cab in NYC or if you just ordered a pizza with anchovies and green peppers. Your life is not that important. Get over yourself, Twit.
