I love my MacBook, but the default HOME and END key behavior in OSX pisses me right off (and I’m hardly alone). HOME should go to the beginning of the line, and END should go to the end of the line, not the beginning and end of the entire page.

home-endThere’s a great little app called Keyfixer, by Jim Mendenhall that easily takes care of this, and a companion to that for Firefox that makes my HOME and END keys sane again.

Then there’s the Flock browser, with the same irritating default HOME and END key behavior, but nothing to fix it (that I was able to find). Jim’s Keyfixer app was pretty simple, and since both Firefox and Flock are Mozilla-based browsers, I knew it had to be a simple thing to make the same script work for Flock.

About two minutes and one little script mod later, we now have a Keyfixer for Flock. Obviously, this was all possible thanks to Jim Mendenhall’s work. Thanks much, Jim.

Here’s the Flock Keyfixer. Enjoy. Download keyfixer for Flock.
