Ok, so Nexeus says it a little more kindly than I do… but his message is the same. Vote. If you think we, as a nation and a planet, are in a shitty situation, if you think this country’s leadership over the last (nearly) 8 years doesn’t give a shit about you, vote. There is no excuse not to, and don’t even think of telling me you’re not voting as an act of protest. That’s a bullshit excuse to be another do-nothing, complacent sheep. If you don’t vote, you’re no better than those that voted Bush in not once, but twice and got us where we are now. Don’t just sit there and bitch about how fucked up things are. Do something about it. You have the luxury of the simplest, easiest form of participation in your government: voting.
