UPDATE: This was emailed to me today. Not one, or two, but three drunken mush-mouthed rednecks and a dog on a four wheeler ranting about Obama’s middle name. I would be totally amazed if any one of them could even find the countries they’re talking about (including our own) on a map.

These people are terrifying. Literally scary-stupid about the real facts, and the worst part is that they don’t care what the truth actually is. I really hope the willfully intelligent outnumber the willfully ignorant in this election. Unfortunately, that is rarely how things work.

• How did over 2.3 trillion dollars in Defense Department spending just disappear, as announced on September 10th, 2001 (yes, the day before the day)?

• Why did FEMA order at least half a million airtight, bio-chemical rated coffins?

• Why has Haliburton / KBR built over 800 fully operational prisons across the United States, that are all empty, but fully staffed and guarded? Why do they all have railroad access?

• Why has FEMA ordered 107,200 Automax prison cars from Gunderson Steel, modified with shackles to carry people?

• Why has the U.S. Army 3rd Infantry’s 1st Brigade (~4,000 troops) been deployed on a standing mission within the continental United States, “training for crowd control”, starting October 1st?

• Why isn’t there an uproar about the circumvention of the Posse Comitatus Act? Or the Insurrection Act?

Are we actually going to have an election, or is some new catastrophie coming first? If (I wish I didn’t have to say “if”) the Democrats win, will Obama be allowed to take office or will some massive crisis strike between November and January allowing the current administration to declare marshal law and effectively nullify election results?

Paranoia? Maybe. But considering what else Bush and Cheney have done over the last 8 years, I’m not going to rule anything out. Frankly, they’re scary as hell.

I’m officially afraid.

Notable points:

• The Bush administration has staged a quiet coup d’etat as of October 1
• She says “why should you trust me”, and outlines the 10 steps to fascism - something she’s written about extensively - and illustrates how these steps to a fascist state have been implemented by our current government.
• she mentions Rep. Brad Sherman who said members of congress were threatened with marshal law behind closed doors if the bailout bill was not passed.
• The president now has his own army. The 1st brigade of the 3rd infantry division has been deployed in the United States and does not answer to Congress. Military is not supposed to operate within the country because it leads to a police state. Prior to this administration, we had laws preventing this. Their mission is “crowd control”. So much for municipal police.
• The President and his lawyers have successfully established a claim that, in the war on terror, the whole world is a battlefield… including the United States. Military Law > Civilian Law

I’m glad I still know how to field dress a deer with a pocket knife. Unless things change, I’ll be needing that skill again…

Nice disclaimer. Why would this be necessary? Because the site is rife with traditional U.S. military stars, insignias and other invocations of the armed services. Disclaimers, especially ones like this, never ever appear on a site unless someone (or more likely lots of someones) filed a complaint.

I really want to see McCain tell us what his campaign is powered by. Greed? Lust for power? Carl Rove’s unholy reactor of deception?

There are well over 1,500 daily newspapers (printed) and hundreds of printed magazines in the Unites States alone. Sarah Palin claims to read “all of them.” So she either reads every single newspaper and magazine in the country or she’s being dishonest. Maybe she misspoke, but Couric asks Palin once more to be specific and name one. Palin can’t. Not even the local paper of the capitol of the state for which she is Governor. Instead she backpedals and blurts out some bullshit boilerplate about Alaska being a melting pot.

Just imagine what press conferences would be like with this vapid liar in office.

I’m going to start referring to her only as “token” since, clearly, McCain only chose her as a token gesture to scrape up as many women voters as possible.
